These Terms of Service govern your use of Bastionik, a trust boundary service for AI agents operated by Bastionik (trading as Bastionik). By using our services, you agree to these terms.
These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bastionik (Pty) Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Bastionik platform and API services ("Services"). By accessing our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Bastionik is a trust boundary service that enables AI agents to interact with external APIs without accessing user credentials. Developers register agents, store encrypted credentials, and define access policies through the Bastionik platform. The Services are intended for internal business use by developers and organizations building AI agent systems.
To access the Services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at hello@bastionik.dev.

Bastionik operates as a trust boundary service. By using Bastionik, you acknowledge that while we take all reasonable measures to secure stored credentials and enforce access policies, you are solely responsible for:
Bastionik shall not be held liable for any actions taken by AI agents operating through the platform, including unauthorized API usage, data modification, or service disruption caused by agent behavior.
Bastionik offers subscription plans including a Free tier and paid Pro and Enterprise plans. Subscriptions automatically renew based on your chosen billing cycle (monthly or annual). Payment is processed through our payment provider. All fees are quoted in US Dollars.
New accounts include a 14-day free trial of paid features. At the end of the trial period, your account will not be charged automatically. You must actively choose to upgrade to a paid plan to continue accessing paid features.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us at hello@bastionik.dev within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund. No questions asked.
The Bastionik platform, including its source code, design, and documentation, is the proprietary intellectual property of Bastionik. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your internal business purposes. Our open-source SDKs are provided under the MIT License.
Bastionik processes and stores encrypted API credentials and access tokens on behalf of users. All credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard Fernet encryption. We comply with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR and CCPA. Users retain ownership of their credentials and data at all times. We do not sell, share, or use user credentials for any purpose other than executing authorized actions on behalf of registered agents.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bastionik's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall be limited to the lesser of: (a) the total fees paid by you to Bastionik in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $500 USD. In no event shall Bastionik be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
The Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk.
You may terminate your account at any time by logging into your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be subject to a 30-day informal negotiation period. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Delaware, United States. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
We will provide 30 days advance notice before any material changes to these Terms take effect. Changes to functionality, security updates, and bug fixes may take effect immediately upon notification.
